Nice - bet you've got it well sorted inside.

Isabella was 3 months old at her first Soarer meet in Wagga! 14 years has flown by...

Dear lord I was about 20kg lighter in that photo... shame on me.

Cheers Rob. I'll be touch soon. Will be heading down your way in the new year. Will make some time to drop by hopefully.

I'm about twice the woman I was there and feeling good about it. Maybe 5-10k over weight these days - imagine that.

Inside of my unit Manny, the best part. Professional finish, layout suited. Bloke who built it was a home builder. L kitchen, decent bathroom, island bed. Bit short on lounging space and I did plan on a hydrolic lift for the bed but it's just me, didn't get around to it. 1.8kw solar, 1,000a/hr batteries (2x370 2x130), 300lt water (can't fit any more or I would) 50lt grey. Diesel heat/water want a diesel hotplate, do away with gas. Loving the Gypsy life once again, did it as a girl.

See your unit has a good deal of solar, walk us through the work you did, how you set it up. Square on the roof, tv ant?

I'm guessing you are still in touch with J&K, maybe he will jump on and tell us what they are into now days? Still running the track car?

Many of us would be 10-20kg lighter in that photo...

Daina, sounds like you are well sorted with your rig.

I've got a full size queen bed at the rear with acres of underbed storage on linear actuators accessible from inside or the rear door.
Passenger side is the laundry/kitchen with a small washing machine, 2 burner lpg hotplate/rangehood /sink with hot/cold water.
Driver side has an enclosed shower/cassette toilet cubicle, then fridge/freezer/microwave/240v&lpg 20L hot water heater with a converting dinette/single bed.
3 seater for transport.
150 litres of fresh water and 75 litres of grey water.
3KVA 24V inverter, 60A MPPT charger, 2400W solar, 3KW 240V AC, 260Ahr@24V/520Ahr@12V Lead Crystal batteries
Square on the roof is SatKing Pro auto sat dish which feeds a Foxtel box and Satking VAST STB for the TV with a Winegard terestial TV antenna to back it up.
3G/4G booster + multi carrier SIM/wifi access points to keep in contact with the outside world.
A few more bits here and there I could go about but I won't bore everyone here with. My hotmail email you used for the funnies is still the same if you want to see some pics and/or more detailed description.

Jeff was actually over yesterday helping set up a 4 poster hoist in my shed to store the track car.
We're in the last stages of finishing a 1.5JZ conversion in it after yanking the 1UZ out before we hit the track again later this year.

Geeze Louise, thought I liked my toys, you leave me in the dust hahaha. Don't know how you packed all this in and there's more...

Haven't fired up Eudora for some time but I do have the address list.

Multi provider sim... didn't know such a thing existed and this needs investigation. Talk soon :-}

Haha, got to have some mod cons on the road.
I presumed it was still in your contacts list - don't bother firing up Eudora, it's in my profile if you just need to copy it into a different email client.
multi carrier SIM/wifi access points - just means I have both Telstra and Vodaphone 4G wifi modems plugged into the external aerial so I can choose a reliable or cheap carrier depending on location/coverage

Hello everyone!

Finally started working on the mighty Soarer after an eight year hiatus... still going to be the slowest build in the world.

G'day mate hope you've been well! Yeah I still have her but she's been laying dormant for the past couple of years. She passes the 6 foot test but really needs a good clean up.

Hi Daina!

She was actually sitting under a carport at my folks' home all this time semi-exposed to the elements (washed every few months or so though haha).

I had a full service done on it and drove it up from south Sydney on an Unreg Permit to where I live now... ~1100km and it didn't skip a beat!

Feels great to get back behind the wheel of the old girl again.
