Yep, having a blast. Did a bit of work in Hanoi after the 2004 tsunami, it has transitioned from hectic to chaotic.

Work... the necessary evil unfortunately. Miss my soarer too, especially when you catch yourself leaning forward uphill!

Yep, Richo is right. Retirement means working harder than ever before.

The Soarer pages on facebook have killed the forums. Millennials don't even know forums exist.

Still plugging away at life

Rob, give up annoying me on Facebook - I'm not old enough to actively use it

Cheeky prick.

Great looking bus. What engine did you use in it?

Talked to Jeffro last week. Seems you finally got that shitter running, now to have some fun in it. Great work.

Hey stranger, very nice bus. Best and worst part of the adventure? Coober Pedy is my next port, north from there as you have done. Where to next?

Cheers, it took 9 months of solid work to build her, so we're pretty happy with the outcome!

Best experience was at Yellow Water River in Kakadu and worst was Tennant Creek.

I went counter clock wise. It was bloody hot/high 40s in Coober Pedy in late November!

A short trip up to Yamba is next, mostly long weekends now - no more long trips for a while as we've no more long service left and Isabella has 3 years of high school left!

Drive safe
